We support the German Animal Welfare Association, for example, by sponsoring the reptile centre in Weidefeld, making regular donations to endangered animal shelters in Germany and abroad and promoting the "Seniors for Seniors" project at the Sonnenhof near Murnau.
They give older dogs, who can no longer be sent to an animal shelter, a new home with an elderly person. The Sonnenhof was even awarded the Animal Welfare Prize of the Bavarian State Government in 2018 for fulfilling both human and animal needs at the same time.
